Bee Larvea granola

The past week and a half have been so incredibly busy. There have been meetings, visitors, symposiums, and food events pretty much continuously for the last 10 days.
The delightfully hectic week of festivities began with this not so small task- making 15 kilos of Bee Larvae Granola.
Oats and Seeds.
Bee Larvae and Honey.

Blend it all together.
Stir it up.
and Bake it in the Oven.
A sea of Bee Larvae Granola.

This granola was made for a Copenhagen Cooking event just for kids. Kids signed up for a running race where they would run from station to station trying new and unusually things. All the kids loved the granola until they were told what it was made of- then some loved it even more but most were grossed out. It's so funny how our mind can influence our taste and perceptions of deliciousness.
